Opt-in email works for the benefit of both you and your visitor. When your visitor comes to your site and sees your offer, there will be a request for his or her name and email address. That person signs up for your offer. The user then gets an email from you asking for verification of the email address that was provided. The email states clearly the person is willing to accept offers by email. Once they click on that link or reply to verify the address, your system records that information and that’s it. Since the user did agree to receive future mailings from you it is not considered spam.

As for the system that is used, most companies prefer to use a third-party list service. This type of company handles all of the collecting and sending of email, leaving you free to take care of growing your business. Using a list service may cost you money, but with all of the email notifications and rejections that may come your way, it can be well worth it.

Opt-in email is a viable method to make money online. People who use the system properly make a lot of money with it. So opt-in email does work.

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 21, 2012 / Christian Newswire / — The boycott of Starbucks by Christians and churches has expanded to include Nike, Amazon and other businesses that promote homosexual sin. Starbucks announced in January that homosexual “marriage” was “core to who we are and what we value.”

Christians believe homosexual sin is an “abomination” to God and “against nature” as Leviticus 18:22 and Romans 1 say. Unrepentant sexual sins prevent one from going to Heaven (1Corinthians 6:9-11).

“Why would Starbucks, Nike and Amazon promote what God says He judges nations for? Christians don’t want God to judge the USA (2Peter 2:6, 2Chronicles 19:2),” says pastor Steven Andrew, president of USA Christian Ministries.

“The most important question is do we love God? Jesus said that if we love Him, we will obey Him with God’s marriage (John 14:21),” he adds.

“Christians are concerned that if God’s foundations are destroyed what will become of our nation? If somebody was undermining the foundation of your house, you would do everything you could to stop that,” explains pastor Steven. “God calls Christians to keep God’s foundation in the USA from being destroyed,” he added. Every denomination-Protestant and Catholic-is asked to help spread the boycott. The aim is to boycott as much as a Christian or church knows about. Other companies that promote homosexual sin include Google and Microsoft. A company like Microsoft may be hard to boycott, but Christians can pray for God-fearing companies to replace the anti-God companies.

These companies also overlooked the health concerns for homosexuals. CDC reports that one in five homosexuals have HIV, with many unaware they are sick. The average homosexual dies at 42 years and has a higher depression rate, Cameron reports.

“Jesus loves homosexuals and offers hope. I wish every person would receive Jesus’ forgiveness for sins by His blood,” pastor Steven Andrew says.

To capture some insights, Forbes CMO Network editor Jennifer Rooney hosted a morning talk on Jan. 25 called “What’s Next In Commerce: Transforming Retail through New Data Collection Methods.” Speakers were Bill Swislow, CIO of Cars.com , Malcolm Faulds, the SVP of marketing at BzzAgent (a word-of-mouth marketing agency) and Farrukh Khan of Netezza , a data analytics shop bought by IBM for $1.7 billion in September 2010. The talk was part of Forbes and IBM’s Data Driven series .

In this first clip, Fauld gives a good example of BzzAgent’s work with Kroger , which generates 100s of millions of personalized offers every day. It discovered that marketer’s popular “contrast sale” (e.g., selling Pepsi on the idea of intercepting loyal Coke buyers with competing offers) makes loyal customers less happy and drives down conversion rates. It’s better to reinforce and reward behaviors to get more from existing customers. Do Your Share And Stop Getting Spam Emails

The war to fight email spams has been waged years ago and yet the quest never seems to cease. Yes, it is indeed difficult to fight email spams. These mails often catch us by surprise especially when your inbox says that you have hundreds of unread messages. Some of you may have thought that you have urgent messages to attend to.

Only to find out that everything is actually just a hoax from strangers who are selling on the internet. You can only imagine the range and variety of products that these people are selling. Some can be pretty amusing, while some can be unimaginably annoying. Have you ever bothered opening mails from senders you don’t even know? If this is your habit, then you are only welcoming more spams to get into your inbox.

We may not totally eradicate these nuisance emails but surely we can minimize its damage. We need to fight spam emails by not giving them any chance of being opened. Thus, when you receiving mails coming from you don’t know, delete them right away. If it’s coming from people you know but has some suspicious attachments in it, better verify first with the sender before even opening it.

Another bad habit I have noticed about many internet users, they are so fond or forwarding chain emails. If you receive mails asking you to forward it to your list or else your dog will die in the next 48 hours, I say don’t ever forward it. It’s obviously a scam.

It’s one of the techniques of spamming actually. If you do this, spammers will harvest more email addresses. Just imagine the chain. It could result to thousands of addresses being harvested. Good for the spammers, too bad for us. Spammers utilize advance technology and so to fight email spams has become quite a big challenge for every internet user how to regulate it.

To sum it up, you can fight email spams if you have an apt anti-virus software, don’t give out your email address to just any person or any website, don’t forward chain emails, and don’t open suspicious mails with attachments. Surely there are many other ways to fight spam emails.

If you seriously like to stop getting spam emails, then you have to seriously abide with the rules in eliminating spams.
